I'm completely aware this has nothing to do with deviant art but oh well, recently succumbed and joint both Tumblr (gablaar.tumblr.com) and twitter (@gabimeganwright) and would love if you follwed me on there as well as here. Getting back into the swing on things now, uni has officially started and classes are a bitch to keep up with but I'm getting there. Just finished editing a crap-load of new photos from Africa and some drawings in relation to my Creative Writing work for my degree. Cherrio. xx

I'm aware that i've been pretty lax on uploading anything new lately, well since I got back from across the pond really, and for that I'm sorry. But on the upside I'm going to Kenya for a Safari in a week, and my sketchbook and camera are making the trip with me. Apparently as the Safari is an early moring/evening shindig I'm going to have alot of time to kill so I'll be wandering around the camp getting snap happy. Let's hope I can get some good work done. Thanks to everyone who bothers to read this by the way x

So, it turns out that I do crap-loads of work with plans of uploading it but never get around to it. Productive I know. Currently I'm working on my portfolio for my degree in English Lit & Creative Writing, so I'm spending most of my time writing, but occasionally I get a brainwave and draw one of the character's I'm writing about. Finger's crossed I'll get some decent outcomes and I'll be able to get back into uploading more frequently with drawings rather than photography. Bravo to all of you who read this by the way. I know it's pure crap most of the time but what can I say? ;)
